Frank
McLintock MBE is one of Britain's top football experts. He
moved to Arsenal in 1964 for a record fee of £80,000.
In 1968, he was made captain and was the 'supporters player
of the year' in 1969.
In 1971, he led Arsenal to 'the
double', the league and the cup and was voted 'Footballer of
the Year' by the sports writers. In the same year, he was awarded
the MBE. Frank has become well known as the football expert
alongside Jonathan Pearce in the Capital Gold commentary box.
He is currently a television and radio commentator with George
Best and in demand as a motivational and after dinner speaker. |
